Chris Hadfield is a retired Canadian astronaut who served as commander of the International Space Station, becoming the first Canadian to lead a space mission. During his distinguished career with the Canadian Space Agency, he completed three spaceflights and logged nearly 4,000 hours in space, including two Space Shuttle missions and a long-duration stay aboard the ISS.
