From 1991 to 1994, he studied at UBS AG + KV, before completing a degree in Business Administration from the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science in 1999.

From there, he earned aMasters of Business Administrationfrom 1997 to 2000, at the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Logistics Management from the Universitat St. Gallen from 2008 to 2009.
