Colin Fisher

Colin M. Fisher is an associate professor and PhD Programme Director at University College London's School of Management, and the author of The Collective Edge: Unlocking the Secret Power of Groups (Avery/Penguin Random House, translated into ten languages).

He holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University and is described as one of the foremost experts in the world on group dynamics. His research uncovers the hidden processes of helping groups and teams in situations requiring creativity, improvisation, and complex decision-making.

A former jazz trumpet player and long-time member of the Either/Orchestra, Colin challenges the individual-centric view of leadership and shows how intentionally designed groups unlock a collective edge.
