Damon Horowitz is a philosopher, technologist, and entrepreneur who has grappled with the ethical challenges of emerging technologies. As a former Director of Engineering at Google, he led the company's machine learning and knowledge representation efforts.
Horowitz later co-founded the venture-backed startup Klout, which pioneered social media analytics. He currently serves as a Professor of Philosophy at Stanford University, where he teaches courses on the ethics of AI and technology.
