About
David Weir won 6 Paralympic Gold medals, including 4 at the 2012 London Games in the 800m, 1500m, 5000m, and Marathon. He holds British records in all track distances up to 5,000m, plus 10km, half marathon, and marathon.
In 2018, he broke the Great North Run course record with a time of 41:19. Awarded CBE in 2013 for services to athletics, David co-founded the Weir Archer Academy to develop the next generation of Paralympic athletes.
He speaks on resilience, peak performance, and proving that disability is no barrier to success.
