Edmund Addington
Afghanistan Veteran | Recovered from Serious Injury | Completed Masters While Learning to Walk

About
Edmund Addington was days from completing his tour of duty in Afghanistan in 2009 when a bomb exploded under his vehicle, leaving him seriously injured. After 20 operations, he rebuilt his life—completing a Masters in International Relations while learning to walk again.
As an Army captain, Ed made split-second decisions that meant life or death for his team. He can no longer serve due to his injuries but believes opportunity emerges from adversity.
Edmund speaks on resilience, leadership under pressure, and overcoming life-changing challenges.
