Best known for his playing career with Doncaster Rovers and Everton, Ian Snodin is a former midfielder who has alsoplayed for Leeds United, Sunderland, Oldham Athletic and Scarborough. A prized name within football, Snodin has also taken his abundance of expertise to become a manager and after dinner speaker who is known for his teamwork and leadership based anecdotes.
Beginning his early career as an apprentice for Doncaster Rovers, he eventually secured himself as part of the senior team where he went on to make 118 appearances and score 25 goals before moving to play for Leeds United. With some of his notable moments throughout his young career includingscoring a hat trick over Reading in 1982and beingcalled up to play for the England Under 21 team on four separate occasions, it became apparent very quickly that Ian had an incredible talent in the game.
Throughout his career, Ian hasmade nearing 500 appearances across seven domestic clubsand also has 34 goals to his name. Boasting career highlights including winning the title in his debut season with Everton and managing Doncaster Rovers in 1998, Ian has an endless list of insightful career anecdotes that he often reflects upon as an after dinner speaker.
