Ilya Feige

Ilya Feige is a leading authority on machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently working as theGlobal Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Cerberus Technology Solutions, and formerly as theDirector of AI at Faculty. Sitting as a Director at the epicentre of a company that builds and deploys safe AI systems to help customers achieve exceptional performance, Ilya is considered a preeminent authority on the future of technology and the possibilities that emerging technologies, such as AI, pose for society. Also knowledgeable in physics and data science, Ilya is highly sought-after as a keynote speaker on leveraging transformational technologies for business growth. Achieving a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from McGill University, an MA in Physics from Harvard University and aPhD in Physics from Harvard University, it is evident that Ilya has the certifications to back his incredible expertise.

After working as a Summer Research Assistant for McGill University, Universite de Cergy-Pontoise and CERN, Ilya worked as a French Language Editor for the Canadian Undergraduate Physics Journal. He then went on to become aTeaching Fellow at Harvard University, teaching lectures and weekly tutorials on the fundamental theory of particle physics. In 2015, Ilya spent time as an Associate of McKinsey & Company and in 2017 he became anHonorary Senior Research Associate in Computer Science at UCL. Proving his calibre as a researcher, Ilya was appointed as theHead of Research at Facultyin 2017.

In this role, Ilya was responsible for founding Faculty’s machine learning research lab, pioneering groundbreaking research into artificial intelligence and creating a prestigious research network with Harvard and UCL. In 2018, Ilya progressed to become theHead of Science for Faculty, working as theHead of Machine Learning and Data Scienceand propelling the company’s growth from £1 million to £6 million.
