A British television presenter, producer and journalist, Jon Bentley was heavily involved in Top Gear's revolution, presenting and later producing the show between 1988-1997. He wouldlaunch the career of popular television presenter, Jeremy Clarksonand to this day, there is a corner on the Top Gear test track named after him (the Bentley bend). He is also well-known as thepresenter of Channel 5's popular show, The Gadget Show.
In addition to his experience with Top Gear and The Gadget Show, Jon wouldlaunch Channel 5's Fifth Gear. He has also written regular columns for Classic Car Weekly, Amateur Photographer and Top Gear Magazine, as well as penned columns for the media, including forThe Daily Telegraph, MSN and the London Evening Standard. One of the best-informed technology journalists in the UK, his opinion is widely sought in the field.
He has toured with Gadget Show Live, where he tests the latest technology. He has appeared as a keynote speaker at events that include Autopia, at The Crown Hotel in Harrogate, the popular business event, Expo Midlands, the UK's leading trade IT distributor, Target Component's 2019 Open Day to name just a few of his engagements.
