An experienced sportsman that understands the pressure of the game, the importance of teamwork and leadership, keeping motivated and overcoming adversity, Julian is able to translate these subjects into language that everyone can relate and refer to, whether in business, sports or everyday life. Starting off his sports career as an apprentice withOkehamptonandPlymouth Albion, Julian had the opportunity to play in New Zealand forHawke’s BayandCenterbury Crusaders.
It was after his return from New Zealand that Julian moved toBridgendin 1998, before moving to the prestigiousSaracensin 1999. It was in 2000 that Julian White was called up to make hisEnglanddebut. Julian has had anextremely successful rugby careerthat spanned over 20 years.
He was part of the2003 World Cupwinning team that triumphed over Australia, and won the2001 Six Nationswith thegrand slam winning England squad. Furthermore, he also won multiple trophies with the Leicester Tigers team, before retiring from the sport. As a result of his contribution to the sport, Julian was appointedMBEin 2004.
