Kate Bellingham presented BBC's Tomorrow's World from 1990 to 1994 and ITV's The Big Bang from 1996 to 2004. She began at the BBC as a trainee audio engineer and was selected to co-host the Faraday Lecture for the Institution of Electrical Engineers.
Kate became the National STEM Careers Coordinator and has since focused on increasing women's participation in STEM fields. She has spoken at events across Europe, including chairing conferences at Brunel University and the House of Lords.
Since 2020, she has been pursuing a PhD in engineering education.
