Levi Roots

Levi Roots pitched his Reggae Reggae Sauce on BBC Dragons Den and secured investment from Peter Jones, followed by an exclusive deal with Sainsburys. Over a decade later, his brand has outperformed market leaders and expanded into a full range of food products valued at multiple millions.

Born in Jamaica, Levi learned Caribbean cooking from his grandmother and began selling his sauce at Notting Hill Carnival. Before his entrepreneurial success, he was nominated for Best Reggae Act at the MOBO Awards in 1998 and sang for Nelson Mandela in London.
