Martin Corry

Martin Corry is renowned for the 14 seasons he spent as a Rugby Union player for England. Capped 64 times for the England National rugby team, Martin was also a prominentplayer for Leicester Tigers, making290 appearances and scoring 135 points. Retiring at the end of the 2008-2009 season, Martin has since forged a successful career in sales, with previous history working as aRegional Vice President at Salesforce. Now also hired as a keynote speaker, Martin translates the skills he learned as a professional rugby player into how to create high-performing teams in the corporate world. A versatile rugby player, Martin played as anumber eight, flanker and lockfor the teamsBristol, Leicester Tigers and the Barbarians.

Beginning his amateur career playing for Tunbridge Wells, Martin excelled in the sport, finding himself scouted for the England U21 team before making his debut for the England National team in 1997. He was called up toplay in 7 tests for the British and Irish Lions, on theirtours in 2001 and 2005, and was named inSir Clive Woodward’sselection for the Rugby World Cup in 2003. Also in 2005, Martin was named as theCaptain of the Leicester Tigers, taking over the position fromMartin Johnson. Martin was also named as part of the 2007 Rugby World Cup squad for England, and retired having been a6x Premiership Rugby Championand a2x European Champion. Upon his retirement in 2009, Martin transitioned into the corporate world, becoming the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Mark Group.

Learning the art of building and growing strategic partnerships, Martin later became aSales Director at Oracle, before joining Salesforce in 2014 as an Alliance Director. Spending eight years with the company, Martin later became a Regional Vice President, before becoming the Vice President of Sales in Northern Europe for Alteryx. Today, alongside his work as a keynote speaker, Martin is theVice President of Sales in Northern Europe and a UK Country Lead for Docusign.
