Mike Forde

FormerDirector of Football Operations at Chelsea, Mike Forde worked under Roman Abramovich during the early periods of the Chelsea revolution. Now he is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading sports executives, working at the forefront of innovation and achieving high performance. Mike Forde is an experienced and exciting keynote and football speaker who holds a wealth of knowledge and experience. During his time at Chelsea FC, Forde oversaw all areas of performance and team operations with regards to the first team; including recruitment, medical, sport science, psychology and performance analysis.

Although his methods were under close scrutiny from all stakeholders in the club, Forde persevered and was ultimately responsible for the greatest era in Chelsea FC history. Throughout his 6 years tenure, Chelsea was ferociously successful in all competitions including:Champions League, Europe League, Premier League, and three FA Cups. This cemented them as one of the most proficient and feared teams within England and Europe. Prior to joining Chelsea, Forde helped Bolton Wanderers FC to four consecutive top six finishes within the Premier League, breaking a 100 year old club record.

As well as previously holding roles with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and Wimbledon, Forde is currentlyinvolved with the San Antonio Spurs NBA basketball teamas well as McLaren’s F1 team.
