Robert Hakiza is the co-founder of the Young African Refugees for Integral Development (YARID), a non-profit that empowers refugees through vocational education, English classes, and technology training. As a TED Fellow, Hakiza has leveraged emerging technologies and product development strategies to build community and unlock opportunities for displaced individuals. His work demonstrates how entrepreneurship can be a powerful force for social impact, equipping refugees with the skills and tools to forge their own path forward.
