About
Steve Redgrave won five consecutive Olympic gold medals in rowing from 1984 to 2000, a feat unmatched in endurance sport. After his Sydney triumph, he remains Britains most successful male Olympic athlete.
Redgrave famously declared he should be shot if found near a boat again, only to continue training and win his fifth gold. He has since worked in sports administration and diabetes advocacy after being diagnosed with the condition during his career.
His keynotes draw on decades of elite competition to discuss sustained excellence, overcoming physical adversity, and maintaining motivation when success seems complete.
