Sir Vince Cable led the Liberal Democrats from 2017 to 2019, achieving their most successful electoral performance since 2010 with 15 seats in the 2019 European Parliament Election. He served as MP for Twickenham for 20 years, winning the seat from the Conservatives.
As Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills in the coalition government, he brought business acumen to Cabinet. Sir Vince studied Economics at Cambridge and lectured at Glasgow University and LSE.
An adamant voice against Brexit, he campaigned under the slogan Bollocks to Brexit. He speaks on politics, economics, and business.
