Tommaso Di Bartolo

Tommaso Di Bartolo is a serial entrepreneur and startup investor, who is currently amember of the Faculty of the University of California Berkeley. Passionate about sharing his lessons learned from the two decades he has spent as an entrepreneur with tech expertise, Tommaso is now an advisor to some of Silicon Valley’s most renowned start-up accelerators. Speaking six languages and the author of two books, Tommaso’s expertise is globally revered and he is now highly sought after as a keynote speaker. When booked as a speaker, Tommaso shares his expertise on topics such as crypto, blockchain, NFTs, Web 3 and the Metaverse. Having built a strong reputation as an investor and start-up advisor, Tommaso began his career as a Retail Sales Manager for Vodaphone.

Working in a number of other sales and business roles, Tommaso founded his first business in 2004 – acting as theFounder and CEO of Mail + Web. The first managed service provider in Europe that served enterprise and SME security cloud services, Tommaso founded his second company in 2009, becoming theFounder and CEO of SaaS Distribution. In 2011, Tommaso became theCEO of Cloudplace, and in 2013 he became theFounder and CEO of Swaaag Inc. Since then, Tommaso has been a member of the board or advisor for a variety of companies, including HandsOn. TV, LoadTap, Draper University, Alchemist Accelerator and txtsmarter.

Now specialising in technology and blockchain, Tommaso is on the Faculty of the University of California Berkeley, teaching Entrepreneurship in Blockchain and formerly Robotics and Autonomous Systems. He is also aMetaverse Business Counsellor for Forbes Business Council, an Advisory Board Member for Immerse,Founding Chairman of AlmaMetaand Founding Partner of Awesm Ventures. He has also formerly been the Founding Board Member of SiliconVal.
