Christopher Penn

Christopher Penn is co-founder and Chief Data Scientist at Trust Insights, a marketing analytics and AI consultancy. He has spent over a decade working across data science and marketing, with early influence on Google Analytics adoption, data-driven PR, modern email marketing, and the integration of machine learning and generative AI into marketing workflows. Penn is a regular speaker at the Marketing AI Conference (MAICON), where he and Trust Insights CEO Katie Robbert run hands-on sessions on turning marketing data into intelligence with generative AI, and at the MarTech Conference, where he discusses how close AI tools are to becoming standard in the martech stack.

He has also presented at Content Marketing World and Social Media Marketing World on applying AI and analytics to content. His sessions are technical and demo-heavy, walking marketers through real tools and code rather than high-level predictions. Penn co-hosts the In-Ear Insights podcast and publishes prolifically on practical AI for marketers.

He is based in the Boston area and speaks internationally on data science and AI in marketing.
