Gabby Giffords is a former U. S. Congresswoman from Arizona who survived an assassination attempt in 2011. Since then, she and her husband, former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, have become leading advocates for gun violence prevention and civic engagement.
Giffords co-founded the organization that bears her name, dedicated to ending gun violence through policy reforms and community action. Kelly, a retired U. S. Navy Captain, now serves in the U.
S. Senate. Together, they inspire audiences with their story of resilience and their ongoing mission to make communities safer.
