Climate Activist | Sparked Global Youth Movement for Environmental Action
Has stood on these stages
About
Greta Thunberg gained international recognition after delivering a powerful presentation at TEDxStockholm in 2018, making "The disarming case to act right now on climate change. " Her compelling message about the urgency of environmental action resonated far beyond the TEDx stage, transforming her from a concerned teenager into a catalyst for worldwide climate advocacy.
What began as a school strike evolved into a global movement that mobilized millions of young people to demand immediate climate action from world leaders. Thunberg's approach centers on presenting the stark realities of climate science in a direct, uncompromising manner that cuts through political rhetoric and calls for immediate response rather than distant promises.
Her advocacy demonstrates how individual action can scale into international influence, proving that age is no barrier to driving meaningful change on critical global issues.

The disarming case to act right now on climate change
In this passionate call to action, 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg explains why, in August 2018, she walked out of school and organized a strike to raise awareness of global warming, protesting outside the Swedish parliament and grabbing the world's attention. "The climate crisis has already been solved. We already have all the facts and solutions," Thunberg says. "All we have to do is to wake up and change."
