Jake Wood is the founder and CEO of Team Rubicon, a nonprofit that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. After serving as a Marine sniper in Afghanistan and Iraq, Wood co-founded Team Rubicon in 2010 to leverage veterans' unique capabilities for disaster relief.
Under his leadership, the organization has grown to over 150,000 volunteers, responding to crises ranging from hurricanes to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wood's keynotes provide powerful insights on crisis leadership, building resilient teams, and the power of community to overcome adversity.
