Steven Sasson invented the self-contained, battery-operated digital camera at Kodak in 1975, receiving a US patent. President Obama awarded him the National Medal of Technology and Innovation.
Steven is a member of the National Inventors Hall of Fame and Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame, and a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. He has received the Royal Photographic Societys Progress Medal, Culture Award from the Photographic Society of Germany, and American Society of Photographers International Award.
Now a Visiting Professor at University of South Floridas Institute for Advanced Discovery and Innovation, Steven speaks on innovation, technology, and intellectual property.
