Tey Bannerman

Tey Bannerman helps companies tell the difference between genuine AI opportunities and empty promises, and turn the real ones into measurable results. He spent eight and a half years at McKinsey & Company, where he rose to Partner, served as Head of McKinsey Design Europe, launched the firm's UK customer-experience practice, and led hands-on AI transformations across regulated industries like banking, insurance and fintech, as well as consumer sectors like retail and fashion.

Across more than twenty years in technology, over half of them spent designing and building AI systems, Tey has launched digital businesses serving millions of customers and built enterprise AI at global scale. His path runs from writing code at startups and agencies, to leading product teams across three continents, to advising the boards of the world's largest companies, giving his work the precision of an engineer, the creativity of a designer and the pragmatism of a business leader.

Today he advises purpose-driven companies with AI at their core, from Series A startups to the Fortune 500, and co-authored The AI Revolution, which reached number one on Amazon's AI charts. On stage he speaks about how leaders actually work with AI, why the same system succeeds in one culture and fails in another, and how to design AI that people will trust and adopt. He has keynoted World AI Cannes Festival, Design Matters, Founders Forum Global and Leading Design, and curates the AI&I Symposium at 3daysofdesign.
