Our mission

Ideas travel through people

Every day, on thousands of stages around the world, someone stands up and shares what they know. A founder explains how to raise money. A scientist changes how a room thinks about climate. A strategist reframes an entire industry in forty minutes. Ideas do not spread on their own; people carry them, stage by stage, audience by audience.

Mezzo exists to map that exchange: the speakers who carry ideas, the events where they spread, and the connections between them. Who spoke, where, about what, and alongside whom. The whole circuit, documented.

Why the map matters

Music has its discographies. Film has its credits. The speaking world, where ideas actually meet their audiences, has never had a record. Bios say what someone wants you to hear; a gig record shows what actually happened. So the people who put speakers on stages choose from hearsay, and brilliant voices stay invisible outside the rooms they have already played. Mezzo is the missing record: a free, open map that helps the next great idea find its next stage, and the next audience find the person who will change how they think.

How the data is built

Profiles are assembled from public primary sources: published conference lineups, event archives, and recorded talks. Every appearance on a profile is a verifiable record with an event and a date, not a claim.

  • Verified facts, not generated prose. An appearance needs a real event and a real date before it is published. We would rather show a shorter, true record than a longer, padded one.
  • Speakers own their records. Any speaker can claim their profile free of charge, correct it, and keep it current.
  • Corrections are welcome. If something on a profile is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Accuracy beats coverage, every time.

Who is behind it

Mezzo is independently built and operated. It is not owned by a speaker bureau, an events company, or a talent agency, and no one can pay to alter their record. Listing is free for speakers; the map is free for everyone to explore.
