Alejandro Durán is an environmental artist whose unique practice transforms polluted beaches into thought-provoking installations. As the founder of the Washed Ashore project, he has collected and repurposed over 10 tons of ocean plastic, creating large-scale sculptures that raise awareness of the global plastic crisis.
Durán's work has been featured in National Geographic, The Guardian, and over 200 international publications. His compelling talks take audiences on a visual journey, inspiring action to protect our oceans and environment.
