Debugging The Student Life

In this talk, Ankita Verma explores the hidden psychological “bugs in the code” of student life: FOMO, unhelpful patterns, and a lack of clarity in a world dominated by social media. Drawing from her personal experience as an anxious, comparison-driven student and her professional background as a management consultant and NLP-based coach, she explains how students often get trapped in invisible loops of scrolling and self-doubt. Ankita Verma is an Economics graduate from Mumbai University and has studied ‘Advertising Communication and Marketing Management’ at the Xavier Institute of Management/Communication, Mumbai. She has spent more than two decades in advertising industry, with a wide range of clients handling Marketing, PR, Brand Campaigns. She is an internationally certified Master Practitioner of ‘Neuro-linguistic Programming’ & Gestalt Psychology and a practicing counsellor and coach. Ankita is a published author of three books in Socio-political and Historical fiction genre and has received excellent reviews by the readers as well as the literary world. She is now ready to foray into the non-fiction genre too. Between year 2015 to 2024, she was heading an Asia based MNC's as Director. Currently, she is Managing Partner of her own Sales & Marketing Consultancy firm namely ‘Mindspace Strategic Edge LLP, based out of Mumbai.
