Bunker Roy founded the Barefoot College, an innovative educational institution that trains rural women to become solar engineers, architects, dentists, and communicators. Recognized as a Skoll Social Entrepreneur and a Schwab Social Entrepreneur, Roy's work has brought sustainable, community-led development to over 1,300 villages across 93 countries. Through his keynotes, he shares the inspirational story of the Barefoot College movement, demonstrating how grassroots solutions can transform the lives of the world's most marginalized people.
