Chris Abani is a acclaimed Nigerian novelist whose work explores the intersection of human experience and emerging technology. Imprisoned three times by the Nigerian government, he transformed his experiences into searing poetry that Harold Pinter called 'the most naked, harrowing expression of prison life and political torture imaginable.
' Abani's novels, including the award-winning GraceLand, have been praised for their unflinching look at the human condition in the face of oppression. His talks challenge audiences to consider how new technologies will reshape our shared humanity.
