Chris Abani is a acclaimed Nigerian novelist whose work explores the intersection of human experience and emerging technology. Imprisoned three times by the Nigerian government, he transformed his experiences into searing poetry that Harold Pinter called 'the most naked, harrowing expression of prison life and political torture imaginable.
