Dave deBronkart is a leading patient advocate and digital health expert. Diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2007, he leveraged online communities and open medical data to take control of his care, becoming known as 'e-Patient Dave'.
As a healthcare reform activist, deBronkart champions patients' rights to access and share their own medical information. His TED talks on the future of patient-centered healthcare have inspired millions to take a more active role in their wellbeing.
