Dr. Dee Boersma is a globally renowned conservation biologist and leading expert on penguin preservation.
As a Professor at the University of Washington, she has studied penguins for over 40 years, publishing numerous influential papers on their behavioral ecology and conservation. Boersma founded the Penguin Sentinels program, which engages communities worldwide to monitor and protect penguin populations.
