Deepika Kurup is a clean water innovator and youngest-ever TEDx speaker. At age 14, she developed an inexpensive water purification system that uses solar energy to disinfect water, a solution that has impacted thousands worldwide.
Kurup has been honored with the US President's Environmental Youth Award and National Geographic's Young Explorer grant. She continues to advance water access and sustainability efforts as a student at Harvard University, where she is double-majoring in Environmental Science and Public Policy.
