Erik Brynjolfsson is the Director of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and a Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is an expert on the effects of information technology on business strategy, productivity and performance, digital economy, and intangible assets.
Brynjolfsson's research has been recognized with numerous awards, including best paper prizes from the Harvard Business Review, the Academy of Management, and the National Science Foundation. He has testified before the United States Congress on the impact of technology and has been cited in outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Economist.
