Heidi M. Sosik is a Senior Scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where she pioneered the development of marine robotic systems for studying the ocean.
Sosik's research has advanced our understanding of plankton ecology and the role of microbial life in global climate. She has led over 30 oceanographic research expeditions and authored more than 100 scientific publications.
Sosik's keynotes provide audiences a window into the frontiers of marine science, sharing how cutting-edge robotics and big data are unlocking the mysteries of the deep ocean.
