Dr. Jan Goetz transformed quantum computing from academic research to commercial reality. With a doctorate in superconducting quantum circuits from TU Munich and a Marie-Curie Fellowship, he co-founded IQM Quantum Computers in 2018 by spinning out technology from Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Center. As a docent and entrepreneur, Goetz has raised over €600M, positioning IQM as a leading European quantum computing startup driving technological innovation and strategic investment in deep tech.
