Kristalina Georgieva is the Managing Director of the World Bank, the world's largest development institution. As a former Vice President of the European Commission, she oversaw the EU's budget and human resources.
Georgieva also served as CEO of the World Bank, where she led initiatives on climate change, fragility, and human capital. Her keynotes provide global economic analysis and strategies for navigating complex, interconnected challenges facing businesses, governments, and society.

How to rebuild the global economy
The coronavirus pandemic shattered the global economy. To put the pieces back together, we need to make sure money is going to the countries that need it the most -- and that we rebuild financial systems that are resilient to shocks, says Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the International Monetary Fund.
