Dr. Leana Wen is a public health expert and former Baltimore City Health Commissioner.
As an ER physician, she led Baltimore's health department through the opioid epidemic and restored trust in government public health. Wen is a contributing columnist for The Washington Post and a CNN medical analyst, using her platforms to advocate for pandemic preparedness, healthcare reform, and equitable access to care.
