Melati Wijsen is an 18-year-old environmental activist from Bali, Indonesia. At just 12 years old, she co-founded the non-profit Bye Bye Plastic Bags, which has since led successful campaigns to ban single-use plastics in Bali and beyond.
Melati has spoken at the UN General Assembly and TED, challenging world leaders to take immediate action on climate change and sustainable development. Her powerful storytelling and solutions-focused approach inspire audiences to become agents of positive change in their own communities.
