Mindy Seu

Mindy Seu is a designer, technologist, and associate professor at UCLA whose work sits at the intersection of technology, feminism, and digital culture. She is the author of the Cyberfeminism Index, a living archive of over 700 resources spanning net art, hacktivism, and techno-activism, published by Inventory Press in 2022.

The accompanying book tour spanned 85 events across 21 countries, with sold-out talks at the New Museum, Whitechapel Gallery, Lafayette Anticipations, M+ Hong Kong, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney. Her lecture performances blend research, design, and live storytelling in a format that defies easy categorization.

Mindy's latest work, A Sexual History of the Internet, debuted as a performative lecture at Performance Space New York, gathering anecdotes, artworks, and historical artifacts that reveal the origins of our digital tools. She has taught at Rutgers, Yale School of Art, and MIT, and her work has been featured in The New York Times, Artforum, and 032c.
