Naomi Oreskes is a Professor of the History of Science and Affiliated Professor of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the history of earth and environmental science, and on understanding scientific consensus and dissent.
Oreskes is the co-author of the acclaimed books 'Merchants of Doubt' and 'The Collapse of Western Civilization', which expose how corporate-funded misinformation campaigns have delayed public action on climate change. Her TED talks have reached millions, empowering audiences to navigate scientific complexity and hold leaders accountable.
