Ory Okolloh is a pioneering Kenyan advocate who has harnessed technology to amplify civic engagement. As the co-founder of Ushahidi, a crowdsourcing platform that maps reports of violence and crises, she has empowered citizens across Africa to share real-time information and organize relief efforts.
Okolloh's work has been recognized with the prestigious Grinnell Prize, and she currently serves as the Director of Investments at the Omidyar Network, where she supports entrepreneurs building technologies for the public good.
