Dr. R. A.
Mashelkar is a globally renowned chemical engineer and innovation leader. As the former Director General of India's Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), he oversaw a network of 40 state-of-the-art labs with over 20,000 scientists. Mashelkar has been honored with the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian award, as well as prestigious international accolades like the Material Science and Technology Prize and the George Westinghouse Gold Medal.
