Rose M. Mutiso is the co-founder and Research Director of the Mawazo Institute, a think tank advancing African solutions to global challenges. As a TED Speaker, Mutiso has shared her expertise in sustainable energy access, advocating for decarbonizing Africa's development.
Previously, she worked at the U. S. Department of Energy, where she developed policies to expand renewable power.
Mutiso holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Her keynotes empower audiences to drive positive change, showcasing innovative models for powering Africa's future in an equitable, climate-conscious way.
