Simon Lewis is a professor of global change science at the University of Leeds. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers on the impacts of climate change, deforestation, and environmental degradation.
As a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Lewis advises policymakers on strategies to mitigate climate risks and build climate resilience.
