Simon Lewis is a professor of global change science at the University of Leeds. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers on the impacts of climate change, deforestation, and environmental degradation.
As a lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Lewis advises policymakers on strategies to mitigate climate risks and build climate resilience. His TED talks have reached millions, translating complex environmental science into actionable insights that empower individuals and organizations to take meaningful steps toward a sustainable future.
