Fail to win – Fear to lose
Speaker
About this talk
This talk unpacks the idea of “Fail to win – Fear to lose” through the lived journey of a woman DJ in a male-dominated industry. Set against the larger theme “Hey, It’s Okay to Fall! Dust off, rise again,” it explores how fear often speaks louder than failure itself. The speaker shares moments of doubt, resistance, and unspoken bias that shaped her path. Each setback became a lesson, not a label, in an industry defined by its own rules and culture. The talk is a reminder that rising is not about fitting in, but about refusing to stop. One of India's leading DJs and music producers, Siana Catherine Rodriguez has performed over 100 sold-out shows, sharing the stage with artists like Martin Garrix, Alan Walker, and Skrillex. She has also headlined festivals for audiences of over 50,000 people. Her work also includes features with top brands, such as BMW, H&M, FTV luxury, and a Kingfisher TV commercial alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
