About this talk
Change is terrifying—until you realize what’s actually bulletproof. Drawing on her great-grandmother’s survival through revolution and a world war, Aigerim breaks down the three assets no crisis can touch: knowledge, experience, and relationships. This isn’t just about surviving; it’s about building a life that is fundamentally unshakeable Aigerim is a VP of Product Management at Meta leading the Horizon product team. She has been at Meta for 10 years. Aigerim has led product teams across Facebook App (Identity, Facebook Dating) and Ads. Before Facebook Aigerim was a founder and CEO of a local discovery startup that was backed by Google Ventures and other top tier investors. Outside of Meta, Aigerim is an angel investor in early stage startups. She previously served on the Board of OneGoal Bay Area, where she was a Chair of the Development Committee. Today she serves on the Board of USC Asian Pacific Islander Alumni Association. Aigerim is originally from Kazakhstan, loves to travel and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and 2 kids.
