Cheryl Miller Houser is an award-winning director, writer, and producer who harnesses the craft and science of storytelling to drive deep emotional connection and positive impact. She is the founder and CEO of Creative Breed, an empathy agency that tells stories to inspire people to think, feel, and take action.
Her feature documentary Generation Startup, funded by PwC and UBS, follows six young people launching startups in Detroit. She produced David O. Russell's first movie Spanking the Monkey, winner of the Sundance Audience Award, and the Academy Award-nominated documentary Children of Darkness for PBS. Her web series Mad Genius Tips for Food & Wine Magazine earned two James Beard Award nominations and over 40 million views.
A three-time featured speaker at SXSW, including a Main Stage appearance, Cheryl delivers keynotes and workshops globally on human-centered storytelling. She coaches executives at companies like Goldman Sachs, UBS, American Express, and the US State Department, helping leaders access their most inspiring stories and communicate with heart and humanity.
