Karoli Hindriks

Karoli Hindriks founded her first company at 16, becoming the youngest inventor in Estonian history. BusinessWeek named her one of Europe's top 20 young entrepreneurs before she turned 25. She went on to launch seven television channels across Northern Europe, including National Geographic and MTV, before founding Jobbatical in 2014 - a platform that makes immigration processes seamless through technology. Forbes named Jobbatical one of Europe's 10 most exciting technology SMEs in 2018.

In 2021, Hindriks became the first Estonian to speak on the main TED stage in Monterey, California, arguing that the passport needs an upgrade. The EU Council named her one of Europe's 8 most inspiring women in 2020. EU-Startups has listed her among the 50 most influential women in the European startup and VC space for seven consecutive years. She is a Singularity University graduate and was selected as a Leader of Tomorrow at the St Gallen Symposium.

Her talks cover global mobility, cross-border talent, immigration technology, and what happens when policy can't keep up with how people actually work. She draws on two decades of building companies across borders from a country of 1.3 million people.
